Vatika Naturals Cactus Enriched Hair Oil...

Hey guys! Hope everyone is okay and doing well.  Sorry for not doing a post in such a long time, I've been so busy that I really didn't have the time.

Just going to do a quick review on a hair oil that I use and how its benefited me.

This oil is the Vatika Naturals Cactus enriched hair oil.

I'm one of those people who loves a nice hot shower and we all know that isn't very good for our skins. It leaves it dry and flaky and to manage the dryness, especially on our scalp is a absolute mission. I suffered with very bad dandruff and slight hair loss and even though I was using head and shoulders shampoo, my dandruff just wouldn't go. I started to use this oil about a couple of years ago in the hope that I could get rid of the dandruff and strengthen my hair. And I've got to say that this oil really did work. I try to use this oil before every shower. I massage it from root to tips and just leave it in for a couple of hours, then just wash it out as normal.

The main ingredients in this oil are cactus, garlic and garger. As written on the bottle, Cactus helps to prevent hair loss and repair hair shaft, garger nourishes hair from root to tip and garlic helps to control hair fall.

Even though this oil doesn't have any specific ingredient which is to stop dandruff , I felt that this oil did do that for me. And as well as getting rid of the dandruff, it made my hair softer and more silky.

If your like me and continue to have hot showers then you would have to use the oil regularly because the dandruff does come back because of the heat. One of the slight drawback has got to be the opening of the bottle. I personally would prefer it to have a little thing on the end so you squeeze it out but its just got a normal opening, which can become a little messy as too much may come out. But to be honest this isn't a massive thing as you can just pore it into a pot and just apply it with your fingers.

Just a quick tip on when you oil your hair, massage it into your head really well. I think I mentioned in a previous post that massaging your head helps with the growth of your hair, so if you want long hair then definitely do that.

My dad gets this oil for me from an Asian shop but I have looked online for it and you can find it. I think the price of it was around £3.29. This one bottle does last me a very long time and my hair is down to my butt.

It's very important to look after our hair and give it the right stuff for it to stay in great condition. This company also has many different hair oils for different purposes, Click Here to read about there other oils and there properties.

I hope this review helps you guys. At questions the let me know.

USpicy Make Up Brushes...

These make up brushes are amazing and very affordable. I know all of us make up lovers want decent brushes for a perfect application of make up and for our end make up look to look exactly how we want. I personally cannot afford the original prices of all the well known, quality make up brushes out there, so decided to do some research on Amazon to find cheaper prices. While looking for the well known make up brushes I came across these. USpicy?! I never heard of this company before but looking at the reviews, it definitely made me want to try these make up brushes out, especially as they were so affordable.

These make up brushes are super soft and I never thought that I can get such a flawless look, and so easily. I've honestly never liked the way my make up looks so much. So far I have had no fall out hairs from these brushes and I seriously love the feel of these brushes on my face. These brushes do have a slight paint type smell when first opened but its recommended in the booklet to wash them before use.

This set comes with 10 brushes. A flat brush, tapered brush, flat angled brush, angled round brush, round brush, precision flat brush, precision tapered , precision flat angled brush, precision angled brush and precision round brush. They come all individually wrapped, in a draw type cardboard case. In the box there is also a little manual stating what each brush can be used for.

I bought these brushes for £16.99 off Amazon and they currently have them for £14.99. To go directly to the Amazon page of where to buy them Click Here. Personally I love these brushes and highly recommend them. 10 quality make up brushes for £14.99 is an absolute bargain! I'm sure you'll love these, so definitely buy them.

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks..

When I see the word colorstay or long lasting, the first thing I think is, 'is it really true?'
I have to say, this has to be the first lipstick I bought, which stayed on my lips.

As mentioned in a previous post, lipstick hardly stays on my lips. When I first tried this product I was pleasantly surprised that it actually does what it says. The packaging is very cute, thin and slightly longer than the "normal" lipstick size. The packaging is clear plastic with the colour of the lipstick on the bottom half. Personally I like to see the colour up front, without having to lift each lipstick to find the colour I want. These lipsticks are easy to apply and glide on smoothly. They are slightly sticky when first applied but after a while the do dry up a little, but not to anything horrible. I've personally have never had a problem with the finish not looking any good, and I have dry lips most of the time. I have the colours 097 Designer and 015 Runway and they both have a shimmer to them. Both colours can be worn as soft everyday colours with one or two coats, or you can darken the colour by adding a few more coats.

015 Runway

095 Designer

The colour Runway is a nude brown colour and the colour Designer is a pinky orange colour. I tried my best to get the exact colour in my swatches and I know the colours look different on my arm than on my lips, but I guess its because lips are a different colour to the skin. I did apply the lipstick straight to my lips, without anything underneath.

A long lasting lipstick is a must have in every girls purse and this lipstick is, which makes this lipstick a must have. This lipstick in £8.99 and can be bought from Boots and Superdrug.
I hope you like it.

Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter & NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator...

I had to do a review on my favourite highlighter, but I really couldn't chose between these two as I love them both. So I thought why not do a joint review on both of them.

So I'm firstly going to talk about my Benefit Watt's Up highlighter. This highlighter comes in a nice solid form with the product on one end and a sponge to blend the highlighter with on the other. I was thinking for ages of what colour I could say this highlighter is, so I had to just go online and steal it from the description and apparently is champagne. Sounds about right to me. This highlighter has a very soft shimmer to it and can be blended as much as you want. Its perfect for a a soft glow to highlight those areas that you want to make stand out. Its ideal for use on cheekbones and brow bones but I personally use a little bit on the bridge of my nose too. The sponge is brilliant for blending it in but I usually just use my fingers as I don't use too much. How much you want to use it entirely up to you. Its also a product that lasts a while as you don't need to use much of it. I also love the packaging, very girly and look so cute.

Now my other favourite product which I use as a highlighter, NYX Born To Glow, liquid illuminator in Gleam. As mentioned in the name, this is a liquid product with a medium mousse type consistency. This highlighter is more of a bronze, golden colour and is a bit more shimmery than the other one. It is supposed to be an illuminator which is meant to to be used all over your face, but I personally think that it's too much to apply all over your face. I use this product also to highlight my cheekbones and it gives a nice bronzey, golden glow. You may think that 18ml is going to get you nowhere but trust me, you literally need the tiniest bit for that perfect look. In my opinion too much doesn't do you any favours at all.

I tried my best to get a swatch that shows the colours as they are. The left one is the Benefit Highlighter and the one on the right is the NYX illuminator.

I love both these products as highlighters and they are both pretty long wearing too. I couldn't chose a favourite out of the two as I do use both and both give an amazing finish and last touch to my make up. Some days I prefer a more bronze glow, so use my NYX illuminator, and on other days I prefer a lighter glow so use my Benefit one. Both are equally amazing in my opinion but the prices are completely different. The Benefit Watt's Up highlighter is £22.50 and can be bought from Boots, Debenhams, anywhere with a Benefit counter really. Yes you might think that this is a bit pricey, but trust me it lasts ages. I've had it for such a long time and its such a brilliant product that I don't regret paying that much. The NYX illuminator is only £7.00 and can be bought from the NYX website, Amazon or very.co.uk. like I said I have it in Gleam and this is a bronzey colour, but can be bought in a lighter colour too.

Try these products and let me know what you think.

Bh Cosmetics 120 Colour: 1st Edition...

I heard so many great things about this pallette, how pigmented it is, how affordable it is etc, so I had to buy it and give it a try.

This palette has all the colours you need in it. It's perfect for taking away with you on holiday, so you have all the colours you need in one palette and don't have to carry loads of different ones, which you may not have space for. You have the softer, calmer colours which have a nice subtle finish and bright colours which stand out perfectly. With all these colours you can create any type of look you want.

This is one of looks I created with this palette.

E.L.F Makeup Mist & Set...

We all want make up stays on all day and this spray did it for me.

Before buying this spray I had read many reviews and for something so affordable this mist had hell of a lot of amazing reviews. So I had to give it a try and it definitely lived up to those review. This spray is a 60ml size bottle and you may think that this is very small but it lasts a very long time. When you spray it on it gives a nice fresh feeling and feels very cool. Obviously it is a little wet at first but it dry's out to a natural finish, and you cannot even tell that you have anything sprayed on. This mist definitely does its main purpose of keeping make up on and I've got to say, my make up has never stayed so intact without this spray.

This make up set mist is available online on the E.L.F website and costs only £3.95. This is a 100% must buy, so definitely buy and I'm sure you on b disappointed.

Revlon ColourStay Foundation For Normal/Dry Skin...

I've had a love hate relationship with this foundation, at times I've loved it and thought it applies brilliantly and sometimes I've really disliked the way it looks.

The one thing I hate about buying drugstore foundations is got to be the colour matching. I've always thought that to be an absolute mission, until someone told me that the best place to colour match is your inner wrist. And trust me that works brilliantly.

This foundation has definitely got to be one of the most long lasting/wearing foundations out of not of the drugstore foundations and even some of the high end ones. This foundation is super runny and can get messy and we all don't like that. But the way I use it is by shaking it, then opening it and using the product in the lid. You don't get too much product in the lid and it definitely doesn't get messy. To be honest I'm not a super fussy person and I think the finish is fine and it looks all great until you try to build on it. I find that building on his foundation makes the colour darker, and the one time I tried that it looked like I had got a nice tan from a holiday. Don't get me wrong, this foundation is brilliant but only if you apply a little, I wouldn't recommend putting more and more on. Maybe if you do want to build on it a lighter colour maybe a better option to go for so when it darkens it matches your skin tone, however I don't know if you'd like the finish. I haven't tried a lighter colour and building personally but you can try it out if you want. Another idea is that if you want more coverage you can use a BB cream under. I do think that applying little is good enough and that this foundation is good for everyday use. To be honest I like it enough to still be using it. I think is a type of product that you need to get used to and find the best way for you to apply it, to get that perfect look and for you to love it. I've gotten used to it and have had no problems with it recently, and have been liking the way my make up looks.

This ColourStay foundation costs £12.49 and can be purchased from Boots and Superdrug. It might be a bit pricey but both these stores do have offers such a 3 for 2.
