USpicy Make Up Brushes...

These make up brushes are amazing and very affordable. I know all of us make up lovers want decent brushes for a perfect application of make up and for our end make up look to look exactly how we want. I personally cannot afford the original prices of all the well known, quality make up brushes out there, so decided to do some research on Amazon to find cheaper prices. While looking for the well known make up brushes I came across these. USpicy?! I never heard of this company before but looking at the reviews, it definitely made me want to try these make up brushes out, especially as they were so affordable.

These make up brushes are super soft and I never thought that I can get such a flawless look, and so easily. I've honestly never liked the way my make up looks so much. So far I have had no fall out hairs from these brushes and I seriously love the feel of these brushes on my face. These brushes do have a slight paint type smell when first opened but its recommended in the booklet to wash them before use.

This set comes with 10 brushes. A flat brush, tapered brush, flat angled brush, angled round brush, round brush, precision flat brush, precision tapered , precision flat angled brush, precision angled brush and precision round brush. They come all individually wrapped, in a draw type cardboard case. In the box there is also a little manual stating what each brush can be used for.

I bought these brushes for £16.99 off Amazon and they currently have them for £14.99. To go directly to the Amazon page of where to buy them Click Here. Personally I love these brushes and highly recommend them. 10 quality make up brushes for £14.99 is an absolute bargain! I'm sure you'll love these, so definitely buy them.

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks..

When I see the word colorstay or long lasting, the first thing I think is, 'is it really true?'
I have to say, this has to be the first lipstick I bought, which stayed on my lips.

As mentioned in a previous post, lipstick hardly stays on my lips. When I first tried this product I was pleasantly surprised that it actually does what it says. The packaging is very cute, thin and slightly longer than the "normal" lipstick size. The packaging is clear plastic with the colour of the lipstick on the bottom half. Personally I like to see the colour up front, without having to lift each lipstick to find the colour I want. These lipsticks are easy to apply and glide on smoothly. They are slightly sticky when first applied but after a while the do dry up a little, but not to anything horrible. I've personally have never had a problem with the finish not looking any good, and I have dry lips most of the time. I have the colours 097 Designer and 015 Runway and they both have a shimmer to them. Both colours can be worn as soft everyday colours with one or two coats, or you can darken the colour by adding a few more coats.

015 Runway

095 Designer

The colour Runway is a nude brown colour and the colour Designer is a pinky orange colour. I tried my best to get the exact colour in my swatches and I know the colours look different on my arm than on my lips, but I guess its because lips are a different colour to the skin. I did apply the lipstick straight to my lips, without anything underneath.

A long lasting lipstick is a must have in every girls purse and this lipstick is, which makes this lipstick a must have. This lipstick in £8.99 and can be bought from Boots and Superdrug.
I hope you like it.

Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter & NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator...

I had to do a review on my favourite highlighter, but I really couldn't chose between these two as I love them both. So I thought why not do a joint review on both of them.

So I'm firstly going to talk about my Benefit Watt's Up highlighter. This highlighter comes in a nice solid form with the product on one end and a sponge to blend the highlighter with on the other. I was thinking for ages of what colour I could say this highlighter is, so I had to just go online and steal it from the description and apparently is champagne. Sounds about right to me. This highlighter has a very soft shimmer to it and can be blended as much as you want. Its perfect for a a soft glow to highlight those areas that you want to make stand out. Its ideal for use on cheekbones and brow bones but I personally use a little bit on the bridge of my nose too. The sponge is brilliant for blending it in but I usually just use my fingers as I don't use too much. How much you want to use it entirely up to you. Its also a product that lasts a while as you don't need to use much of it. I also love the packaging, very girly and look so cute.

Now my other favourite product which I use as a highlighter, NYX Born To Glow, liquid illuminator in Gleam. As mentioned in the name, this is a liquid product with a medium mousse type consistency. This highlighter is more of a bronze, golden colour and is a bit more shimmery than the other one. It is supposed to be an illuminator which is meant to to be used all over your face, but I personally think that it's too much to apply all over your face. I use this product also to highlight my cheekbones and it gives a nice bronzey, golden glow. You may think that 18ml is going to get you nowhere but trust me, you literally need the tiniest bit for that perfect look. In my opinion too much doesn't do you any favours at all.

I tried my best to get a swatch that shows the colours as they are. The left one is the Benefit Highlighter and the one on the right is the NYX illuminator.

I love both these products as highlighters and they are both pretty long wearing too. I couldn't chose a favourite out of the two as I do use both and both give an amazing finish and last touch to my make up. Some days I prefer a more bronze glow, so use my NYX illuminator, and on other days I prefer a lighter glow so use my Benefit one. Both are equally amazing in my opinion but the prices are completely different. The Benefit Watt's Up highlighter is £22.50 and can be bought from Boots, Debenhams, anywhere with a Benefit counter really. Yes you might think that this is a bit pricey, but trust me it lasts ages. I've had it for such a long time and its such a brilliant product that I don't regret paying that much. The NYX illuminator is only £7.00 and can be bought from the NYX website, Amazon or very.co.uk. like I said I have it in Gleam and this is a bronzey colour, but can be bought in a lighter colour too.

Try these products and let me know what you think.

Bh Cosmetics 120 Colour: 1st Edition...

I heard so many great things about this pallette, how pigmented it is, how affordable it is etc, so I had to buy it and give it a try.

This palette has all the colours you need in it. It's perfect for taking away with you on holiday, so you have all the colours you need in one palette and don't have to carry loads of different ones, which you may not have space for. This palette has matte eye shadows and shimmery ones, varying from light to dark colours which are all super pigmented. You have the softer, calmer colours which have a nice subtle finish and bright colours which stand out perfectly. With all these colours you can create any type of look you want.

This is one of looks I created with this palette.

I highly recommend this palette to everyone out there. Its definitely a must have! I bought this palette off Amazon for £16.96 but they currently have it for £14.95. You can also buy it from the BH Cosmetics website for $14.95.

E.L.F Makeup Mist & Set...

We all want make up stays on all day and this spray did it for me.

Before buying this spray I had read many reviews and for something so affordable this mist had hell of a lot of amazing reviews. So I had to give it a try and it definitely lived up to those review. This spray is a 60ml size bottle and you may think that this is very small but it lasts a very long time. When you spray it on it gives a nice fresh feeling and feels very cool. Obviously it is a little wet at first but it dry's out to a natural finish, and you cannot even tell that you have anything sprayed on. This mist definitely does its main purpose of keeping make up on and I've got to say, my make up has never stayed so intact without this spray.

This make up set mist is available online on the E.L.F website and costs only £3.95. This is a 100% must buy, so definitely buy and I'm sure you on b disappointed.

Revlon ColourStay Foundation For Normal/Dry Skin...

I've had a love hate relationship with this foundation, at times I've loved it and thought it applies brilliantly and sometimes I've really disliked the way it looks.

The one thing I hate about buying drugstore foundations is got to be the colour matching. I've always thought that to be an absolute mission, until someone told me that the best place to colour match is your inner wrist. And trust me that works brilliantly.

This foundation has definitely got to be one of the most long lasting/wearing foundations out of not of the drugstore foundations and even some of the high end ones. This foundation is super runny and can get messy and we all don't like that. But the way I use it is by shaking it, then opening it and using the product in the lid. You don't get too much product in the lid and it definitely doesn't get messy. To be honest I'm not a super fussy person and I think the finish is fine and it looks all great until you try to build on it. I find that building on his foundation makes the colour darker, and the one time I tried that it looked like I had got a nice tan from a holiday. Don't get me wrong, this foundation is brilliant but only if you apply a little, I wouldn't recommend putting more and more on. Maybe if you do want to build on it a lighter colour maybe a better option to go for so when it darkens it matches your skin tone, however I don't know if you'd like the finish. I haven't tried a lighter colour and building personally but you can try it out if you want. Another idea is that if you want more coverage you can use a BB cream under. I do think that applying little is good enough and that this foundation is good for everyday use. To be honest I like it enough to still be using it. I think is a type of product that you need to get used to and find the best way for you to apply it, to get that perfect look and for you to love it. I've gotten used to it and have had no problems with it recently, and have been liking the way my make up looks.

This ColourStay foundation costs £12.49 and can be purchased from Boots and Superdrug. It might be a bit pricey but both these stores do have offers such a 3 for 2.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Concealer...

I use this concealer under my eyes and on my marks/scars. I've used many concealers but this one matched my skin tone very well and its brilliant at covering my scars. This concealer is also very long wearing which I've always struggled to find in a concealer. This Maybelline concealer comes with a little sponge applicator on the end which some may love and some may not. I personally think its fab because you don't end up getting too much product out and it doesn't get messy. It also allows the concealer to be blended nicely.

This concealer is available from Boots and Superdrug and costs £7.99. It lasts a long time so is definitely worth buying.

Studio London Eye Create Palette...

I received this palette as a gift from two beautiful young girls. And I've got to say, the first time I tried this palette, I fell on love with it.

This palette comes with 12 eye shadows, 4 shimmer pots, an applicator and a mascara. Also on the left hand side of the box there are some suggestions of looks that you can create with this palette. The colours in this palette are slightly shimmery and all go beautifully well together. With the colours in this palette you can create soft looks as well as some stand out, bold looks. The colours are very buildable so you can use a little bit of eye-shadow for a subtle look or you can build on it to make the colour darker for a bolder look. The mascara is this palette is also very decent for a mascara that comes with a set, its not clumpy at all and gives a nice application.

I've used this palette to create this look and I've used the colour Copper Coin for my lid, Ink Blue for my crease and lower lash line, Sapphire Blue blended just about the crease line and Snow White on brow bone and tear duct. I also used the mascara that came with this palette.
I hope you like it.

Liz Earle Skincare Regime...

I suffered with dry skin, especially during the winter. I got dry patches on certain areas of my face, which didn't allow my Make up to be applied very nicely. My mum then told me to purchase this Liz Earle 3 stem regime as she used it and had great success with it.

(I've ran out of the moisturiser so had to do the picture like this)
I'll first talk about the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, which is the first step. All you do with with it is, apply it to your face and neck, wet your muslin cloth (which comes with it), under warm water and wipe your face and neck with it, removing the Cleanse and Polish. Your skin instantly feels fresh and you get that clean, breathable feeling. The muslin cloth also works as an exfoliator and removes dead/dry skin. Your dry skin removed is also visible on the muslin cloth, although that's not a very nice thing to see but its satisfying to see something work, right?! The Cleanse and Polish comes in a pump bottle so you get jut the right amount out and it doesn't get messy at all.

The next step is the Instant Boost Toner. I use this with a cotton pad before I moisturise and it gives a very refreshing feeling and feels nice and cool on your face. It makes sure that every last bit of dirt/make up is removed and leaves your skin brightened.

The last step is the Skin Repair Moisturiser this is available for normal/combination skin and dry/sensitive skin. This moisturiser perfectly moisturises my face without leaving it too oily. The consistency of this moisturiser is a very soft medium type, its not too thin and not too thick. You get a very nice easy application with it and it leaves a nice glow on your face.

I bought this 3 step regime directly from the Liz Earle website for £45 and I received a free full size body lotion and a small deep cleansing mask. Individually the Cleanse and Polish is £15.50, the Instant Boost Tonic is £14.50 and the Moisturiser is £20.25. This might be a bit pricey but these products are really good. John Lewis do also sell Liz Earle products and they have a little counter with a sales person who it would be a good idea to talk to, to get the right products for your skin type and concern.

Let me know how you get along.

L'Oréal Paris Intense Colour Riche- 290 Plum Passion...

This lipstick is super pigmented with a slight shimmer to it and has a really nice finish. Its mentioned that it has Omega 3 oils and Vitamin E to protect lips from drying. Its definitely true and works as this lipstick doesn't dry my lips out at all. This L'Oréal lipstick is very long wearing, and for someone like me, who's lipstick doesn't stay on long, this is brilliant! The colour does slightly lighter throughout the day but you don't have to worry about not having any colour on your lips because there will always be some colour there, and finding that in a lipstick is very rare. But the colour lightening is understandable because of the amount of times that you use your lips, such as drinking and eating.

The Intense Colour Riche lipsticks cost £6.99 and can be purchased from Boots and Superdrug. I'm sure if you look online, there are other websites you can purchase them from.

Try these lipsticks out and show me any swatches of any of the colours.

Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette...

I bought this palette recently as I fell in love with all the neutral colours and the price. This palette has colours ranging from light to dark, so you can use it during the day for a nice soft nude look and for evening/night for a bold smokey eye look. The pigmentation of this palette is wonderful and these eye shadows can be built up depending on how dark you want it to be.

I've created this look with this palette. Its my first look so I hope its okay.

For this look I used the colour Feather on my brown bone, Golden Sand on tear duct, Sunkissed on inner lid and Cocoa Dream on outer lid and lower lashline.

This is the second look I've done with this palette and its very simple. For this look I've used the colour Cocoa Dream on lid, Golden Sand on crease and lower lash line and the colour Feather on brow bone and tear duct.

I'm way too much in love with this palette so I've done another look. Haha! For this look I've used the colour Golden Sand on my lid, Blackbird on crease and lower lash line, Cocoa Dream blended just above my crease and Feather on brow bone and tear duct.

You can create so many looks with this palette and it only costs only £3.19! Its available to buy from Boots and Superdrug. For the quality of this palette the price really isn't anything so definitely go buy it!

Let me know what you think and please do show me any looks you do.

L'Oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara...

I have never been so impressed with a mascara so I had to post about this one.

I have used many mascaras and after hearing Carli Bybel talk so much of this mascara I thought why not give this mascara a try. And I have got to say that this mascara is amazing! I can honestly say that I was impressed  after the very first stroke that I applied of it. I can also say from my experience that I noticed a change in the length of my lashes from the very first application. Like you have to do with a lot of mascaras, with this L'Oréal Telescopic mascara you don't need to keep layering it on to notice a difference and the flexible multi-comb makes it so much easier and gives a nice application. As stated by L'Oréal the comb separates and defines lashes one by one and doesn't make them clump together . I'm sure none of us like lashes clumped together as it doesn't look very attractive. The casing of this mascara is also very innovative, as you can see its in a shape of a telescope so it goes very well with its name. I do love this mascara and don't think I'll be changing from it at time soon.

Here are my with and without mascara pictures:...
Before Mascara

After Mascara

You can buy this mascara from stores such as Boots, Superdrug and Tesco. I have the mascara in extra black but you can get it in black as well. This telescopic mascara costs £10.99. You might think that this is slightly over priced for a drugstore mascara, but seriously its quality is so good that its worth paying that much. And like I said, you don't even have to use much so it will last.

I recommend this mascara so much and I am positive you'll love it as much as I do. I hope you guys buy this and if you have any questions then please do ask.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment...

I was desperate to grow my hair for years but it just wouldn't grow past just below my shoulders. A friend of mine then recommended me this product as it worked for a friend of hers.

As I was already in Boots I instantly bought my first tub. It was recommended on the tub to use it every time you wash hair but I only used it once a week. As written on the tub, after shampooing my hair I scooped out the size equivalent to one egg in my palms and massaged it from root to tip and left it in for 5 mins. After that I just washed it out. Simple as that! I didn't condition after because I never used to. Bad I know, but my hair felt and looked fine without it. In the use of my first tub I noticed my hair growing longer and longer. Eventually I stopped using this treatment after I got through a tub and a half. Whether or not and when you stop using this treatment is entirely up to you as each of our hair works differently. It is recommended to use this treatment with every wash until your hair improves, then to minimise the use to once a week to maintain 'gorgeous conditioned hair'. My hair did continue to grow after the use of this treatment and my hair is now down to just bellow my belly button and I didn't even have to keep buying more and more tubs.

This Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment is £8.49 for a 200ml tub and you can buy it from Boots. You might think this is a little bit expensive but it really did work for me and like I said I didn't even finish 2 tubs. Boots do also keep having deals on there beauty items so it would work out cheaper.

I do hope this treatment works for you and you get those long luscious locks that you want. Let me know how you get along.

Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner...

I had to write about my favourite eye liner which has to be the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner.

I love this product, its so easy to use and very long wearing. Quite honestly I have never worn my make up for 24 hours but I definitely do believe that it would stay on for that long, as mentioned in its name. In my opinion, the felt tip/ pen eye liner is the easiest eye liner to apply , especially for beginners and definitely a whole lot messier. If you would like to purchase this product, it is available to buy from stores such as Boots and Superdrug. The best part is that this eye liner is very affordable at only £2.99. And if you like to mix your eye liner colour up a bit, this eye liner is available in black, purple, blue and teal. Definitely go out and buy this felt tip eye liner, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. And like I said its only £2.99.

I hope this review has helped huns. I would love to know what you lot think of this eye liner and your experience with it, so please let me know.

Snail Slime Serum..

So this is my first post and the one product that popped into my mind had to be one of my favourite products, which I absolutely love.... Snail Slime Serum.
I know by the sounds of it, it sounds absolutely vile, but because of the condition of my skin I was willing to try anything.

Due to spots that I had in the past, I was left with dark brown spots which made me feel insecure and in the need to put a lot of make up on to cover them up. I felt that having to put on concealer in various areas of my face didn't let my make up look that flawless and the way I wanted. I tried many creams, home remedies and even went to the dermatologist and had 5 courses of microdermabrasion. We all have different skin and our skin has different needs, so this might work for others but didn't work for me. I didn't see any difference in my marks and had spent hundreds of pounds. Trying many options for years I then came across this product in my mums emails. I thought what's the harm, why not give it a try and purchased my first bottle. Using this serum day and night on a regular basis I noticed a difference in the appearance of my marks within a few weeks. This would vary depending on the type of skin you have. Also my mum told me she could see a difference and the biggest thing of all, my dad and my 23 year old brother could see that my marks were clearing up. This meant a lot to me because I avoided wearing make up at home as they weren't happy with the amount I was applying to my skin, so they were able to see the biggest difference. My marks are not 100% gone yet but they're fading which is a big thing for me. For me this Snail Slim was a life saviour and I would recommend anyone who is facing the same problem as me to give it a try. It is written that this product is also good for wrinkles so it might be worth the try for that as well.

I purchased this product from www.cougarbeautyproducts.com but if you search online there are other stores and sites that sell Snail Slime products. However I cannot garuntee how well these other products work. Holland and Barrett do sell Dr Organic Snail gel which my cousin has used and has also experienced a noticeable difference in his marks.

I hope my review on this product has helped you, and if you decide to buy this product it will benefit you in the way it benefited me.
